I know what it’s like to feel dismissed. After a concussion left my body out of balance, doctors told me my chronic pain, acid reflux, and IBS were just “normal”—my “new normal.” I was told I didn’t know my own body, despite the daily bloating, anxiety around food, and a broken relationship with eating that spiraled into yo-yo dieting and weight struggles. For over a decade, I lived in pain, ignored by fitness coaches who pushed restriction over healing.
Then, in desperation, I stumbled across the FODMAP protocol while Googling bloating relief. Within days, I felt better—less pain, less bloating, a slimmer face and body, even without the scale budging. For the first time since my accident, I was mostly pain-free. I’d been wrong—pain wasn’t “normal” after 25. This sparked a hunger to learn more about holistic nutrition for IBS and how it could transform lives.
That’s why I went back to school to study nutrition and founded ecoBella Nutrition. As a gut health coach in Canada, I’m passionate about empowering you with IBS meal plan coaching tailored to your body. I’ve been where you are—unheard and unseen.
